A Florida woman was fatally shot by her husband after he rejected her divorce request, authorities said.

Lamar Bryant, 41, was intoxicated and drinking when he picked up his daughter from school on March 25 and drove to a storage unit where he retrieved two guns.

His daughter identified the guns he placed on the center console as “two black Glocks and one with a laser.”

“Upon arrival, Takeshia Bryant approached the vehicle on the driver side and made contact with Lamar Bryant,” the affidavit said.

The father told his daughter to hide the guns behind their home until a “suspected police helicopter flying above the residence” was gone.

The couple’s oldest daughter “stopped Lamar Bryant and said ‘what’s going on?”

“Lamar Bryant shrugged his shoulders, said ‘nothing,’ and then exited the residence through the side, carport door.”

Police said Lamar “consciously decided to commit the murder of Takeshia Bryant” and called the killing “premeditated.”

“She touched lot of people, and she touched a lot of lives, so she was a good woman,” his daughter said.
