Disabled father-of-5 stabbed to death at workplace: ‘How can someone do that?’

Authorities in Houston have charged a 37-year-old man with murder after he allegedly stabbed a disabled father of five to death at his office on Wednesday.

Abdul Niazi, 34, was found dead at his Hewad Multi-Services LLC. office where he used to helps the Afghan community after his years serving with the Afghan Marines for the U.S. in Afghanistan.

The father of five lost his legs in the war and had been using a motorized wheelchair since.

    “He picked up the phone and said, ‘I killed your husband, please forgive me,” cousin Rizwanullah Niazi said.

    A client found Niazi dead on the ground and called the police. The suspect was identified as Masiullah Sahil, 37.

    “I don’t have words. I mean, how can someone do that? to a guy who doesn’t have any legs and he has five kids. So how can you become an animal and do something to a guy like that?” the victim’s cousin wondered.
