A Las Vegas woman was arrested after she allegedly stabbed a 3-year-old to death while babysitting her on Wednesday.
The shocking incident occurred at an apartment complex on the east side of town early Wednesday.

Police responded to the scene after receiving a call from the child’s father, who said that his daughter was stabbed by her babysitter.
The girl suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to the hospital, where she died.
44-year-old Marketta Phillips fled the scene but was later arrested. Investigators believe she had been living at the apartment.
