A Hawaii doctor is accused of trying to kill his wife during a hiking trip early Monday, police said.
Gerhardt Konig, 46, allegedly tried to push the victim off the Pali Lookout trail before striking her head with a rock.
The woman was listed in critical condition on Monday with severe facial and head injuries.

Honolulu Police launched a manhunt for the doctor, who was apprehended by Monday evening near Pali Highway.
The suspect worked as an anesthesiologist at various medical facilities on Maui, including Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Investigators said the doctor attacked his wife after she refused to take a picture with him.
