American forces are looking for four U.S. Army soldiers after they vanished Wednesday during a training exercise in Lithuania, near the Belarus border.
The troops disappeared from a training area near Pabrade, near the eastern border with the Russian ally.

“The soldiers, all from 1st Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, were conducting scheduled tactical training at the time of the incident,” the U.S. embassy in Vilnus said.
“Search and recovery efforts are underway.”
Local news outlets said the soldiers vanished along with a tracked, armored vehicle.
