Two Fort Stewart soldiers were killed in a vehicle accident during a field training exercise late Thursday, officials said.
The fallen soldiers were reportedly assigned to the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat and the 3rd Infantry Division.

“We are heartbroken about this tragic accident and will do everything we can to support the Soldiers’ families and friends during this incredibly difficult time,” Maj. Gen. Christopher Norrie said.
“The entire division extends our deepest condolences to the Families of the Soldiers who died in this accident.”
The soldiers’ identities are being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
