A one-year-old girl survived a near-death fall after she was intentionally thrown off the second-story balcony of a Milwaukee home on Saturday.
Jaimann Eiland, 31, admitted to throwing the baby off the balcony after a “tug-of-war” with the baby’s mother, Shakira Walters.
The man reportedly threatened the Walters with a knife and physically abused her after dropping the child onto a wet lawn outside the building.
Police said the baby narrowly missed an air conditioning unit and suffered minor injuries. Her mother sustained a sprained finger, a laceration to the forehead, and a swollen hand.
“She could’ve died,” Walters reportedly said. “She could’ve gotten really hurt from that, and I’m just mad.”
Eiland, who is the ex-husband of Walters’ mother, admitted to the allegations but said he did not go overboard.
