Three people were found shot dead inside a Pompano Beach, Florida home when deputies conducted a welfare check late Wednesday.
The grisly discovery was made at a home in a retirement community in the 300 block of South Golf Boulevard at around 7 p.m.
Broward County Sheriff’s deputies and fire crews forced entry to the home where they found three people dead from gunshot wounds.
While authorities work to officially identify the three victims, a neighbor said the home’s residents were a couple and their son.
The neighbors said the family’s cars have not moved in several days. The family had been renting the residence for about a year.
“The whole thing is just shocking,” the neighbor said. “You live next to people for a year and you have no idea.”
