Suspect arrested in Texas after opening fire at Louisiana Mardi Gras celebration killing 2; hurting 11

Authorities in Montgomery County, Texas announced the arrest of a 19-year-old man accused of opening fire at a Louisiana Mardi Gras event earlier this week, killing two people and injuring 11.

Trea’land Ty’rell Castille was arrested Saturday, four days after the mass shooting in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana.

    The teen was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, ten counts of attempted second-degree murder and five counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.
