An Atlanta man was arrested after he allegedly killed his parents, threatened a woman at knifepoint and led police on a standoff Friday evening.
The daughter of Marvin Spencer called 911 just before 3 p.m. after she couldn’t get in touch with him or his live-in girlfriend, Henretta Russell.
Officers responded to the couple’s apartment off Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard and encountered Russell’s son who threatened to harm himself and barricaded himself inside the apartment.
Detectives determined that the suspect was holding a woman at gunpoint inside the apartment.
Police managed to access the apartment after arresting the suspect. They found the bodies of a man and a woman inside the apartment.
