Boy, 16, intervenes in couple’s argument; fatally stabs mother’s fiancé

A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody late Saturday after he allegedly stabbed his mother’s fiancé to death during an argument.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said deputies responded to an apartment on South Mason Road south of Highland Knolls Drive and found an unresponsive man.

    Gonzalez said the teen’s mother and the victim had gotten into an argument. The boy intervened and stabbed the man.

    The juvenile was booked into the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department.
