Houston news, Texas news.

Authorities in Houston, Texas are looking for a gunman after a shooting that left five people injured early Sunday morning.

The shooting unfolded at around 2:30 a.m. at a club on Raleigh Street near Highway 288 and Old Spanish Trail.

Officers learned that a fight broke out at the club about 30 minutes before the shooting.

They located five victims suffering from gunshot wounds and performed life-saving measures before taking the victims to hospitals. Two were listed in critical condition.

The gunman was described as wearing black clothing. He took off in a four-door white vehicle. Surveillance video showed him walking up to the front door of the bar and firing several shots.

“At this point, it looks like he was just randomly shooting inside the club. That’s when the five people were hit,” said HPD Assistant Chief Luis Menendez. A witness described the scene as chaotic with “everybody running.”

“The club was closing, everybody was coming out, everybody just standing up, and then you just hear shots.”
