A Florida father and two teens were arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a marijuana dealer over the last weekend.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said Charles Andrew Jackson III, 16, and 15-year-old Tyjhae Allen shot 22-year-old Juan German-Garo Jr. on Sunday with an AK-47.
The two teens met up with Garo Jr. after ordering $400 of marijuana from him on an app.
When Garo Jr. showed up at a Frostproof neighborhood for the deal, the teens shot him three times, killing him.
“They clearly conspired and worked together to rob this guy because they didn’t have $400 to buy marijuana,” Judd said.
“They intended all along to rob him when he got there and that’s exactly what they did.”
Jackson III reportedly called his father to pick him up. The following day, the man denied knowing his son’s whereabouts when asked by police.
“While we’re there talking to him, he starts texting and erasing texts,” Judd said. “He is texting his son, and told him, ‘Run! The cops are after you!”
The father, who has a lengthy criminal history, was subsequently arrested for tampering with evidence and accessory to first-degree murder.
“This guy’s a bad dude and his son is a murderer,” Judd added.
