Authorities in Davenport, Florida said that a 4-year-old boy was in critical condition Saturday evening after he accidentally shot himself.
Investigators said the victim's family was getting ready for an outing when he wandered into the garage and entered a car where he found a hidden handgun.

The child’s parents drove him to AdventHealth hospital then he was airlifted to an Orlando hospital.
The parents are cooperating with the investigation. The victim’s name was not disclosed.
“This is a heartbreaking incident,” said Police Chief Steve Parker. “We are praying this child recovers from his injuries and we equally pray for the family as they work through this tragedy.”
