An Indiana husband was taken into custody after he allegedly killed his wife and confronted police on Valentine’s Day.
Officers with the Jeffersonville Police Department responded to a home for a domestic disturbance Friday evening but things quickly escalated requiring the “full force” of the department.
After learning that the situation became an “emergency rescue effort”, officers forced entry to the home encountering 34-year-old Taylor Meyer.
The man acted “aggressively” with officers forcing them to use “control techniques” to apprehend him “as quickly as possible.”
Meyer’s three children who were under the age of 5 were found inside the home, unharmed.
His 36-year-old wife was pronounced dead at the scene. Though police did not disclose how she died, Meyer was charged with murder.
