A 13-year-old California boy is dead after he fell out of a hotel window while on a family vacation in Mexico.
Ruben Navarro Jr. was playing with his cousins in the hallway of the Hotel Corona Plaza in Rosarito, Baja California on Feb. 2 when the tragic incident unfolded.
The boy fell out of a sixth-story window after the glass panel popped out of the window.

“These hotels should have enough strength,” the victim’s aunt said. “There’s no way that window should’ve come off that easily.”
The aunt described Navarro as an “old soul” adding that his passing has been “really hard” for his mother and family.
“He stole their hearts. He was hilarious. He had an old soul. The way he talked was like an adult.”
