A shooting at a house party in Woodland Hills left a 16-year-old boy dead and five other people wounded early Sunday.

Officers responded to the shooting at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday to a hilltop house on Winnetka Avenue and Hatteras Street where more than 200 people gathered for an overnight party.

Many of the partygoers had left the scene by the time officers arrived but investigators learned that an attendee fired the shots after being asked to leave.
