Alabama woman mauled to death while feeding pack of dogs

An Alabama woman is dead after she was mauled by a pack of dogs she was feeding at a Tuscaloosa home Thursday, police said.

Deputies with the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, EMS, and animal control services responded to the home in the 13000 block of Boyd Road at around 9 a.m.

A 911 caller reported the mauling incident telling dispatchers that a woman was being attacked by a pack of dogs, Capt. Jack Kennedy said.

    She was reportedly feeding the dogs for the owner who was out of town. The owner is not facing charges.

    Kennedy declined to identify the victim out of respect for her grieving family.
