A South Carolina woman is facing attempted murder charges after she allegedly ran over her husband after an argument and then took him home without seeking treatment.
Brittany Rose Hernandez and her husband were fighting while traveling in a Chevy Traverse with their children on Tuesday.
The woman left the vehicle for moments and returned to find out that her husband had stepped out of the SUV. She followed him as he walked away, before taking a sharp turn into him.
Surveillance video caught Hernandez dragging her husband for about 10 feet before stopping. Her kids then exited the SUV and pulled their dad from under the car.
The man was put inside the vehicle that drove away. A witness alerted police to the incident and detectives identified Hernandez through surveillance footage.
The victim was found Wednesday at Hernandez’s home, suffering from severe injuries including a broken jaw and a shattered orbital bone.
Hernandez who did not seek medical treatment for her husband was arrested on attempted murder charges.
