A 25-year-old California father is facing charges after he allegedly killed his baby, falling asleep on him while drunk.
Paradise Police officers responded to reports of a 5-month-old baby not breathing at around 11:50 p.m. Sunday.
Emergency responders performed life-saving measures on the baby who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators determined that the baby’s father, who has yet to be publicly identified, was intoxicated when he fell asleep on the child.
The man was arrested on charges of manslaughter and child abuse resulting in death. His bond was set at $80,000.
The baby’s official cause of death is pending an autopsy.
