Three people were killed in a shooting near a Mobile, Alabama interstate, police said late Saturday.
Officers responded to reports of a person shot on Interstate 10 East and Theodore Dawes Road just after 7:30 p.m.
The three victims were found suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. All were pronounced dead at the scene.
“Upon arrival, officers discovered three victims suffering life-threatening gunshot wounds who died on scene due to their injuries,” the Mobile Police Department said.
An investigation into the triple homicide is ongoing. Police are also investigating a shooting that left two men dead in Theodore less than 24 hours earlier.
Mobile Police officers were called to the 7500 block of Newcombe Drive just after midnight Saturday and located two deceased men.
The victims were later identified as Jimmetrious Wilson, 24, and Tristian Williams, 41.
Investigators believe Wilson attacked Williams leading the latter to shoot him. A female suspect, who had not been identified, then shot Williams.
