Maine toddler found dead in snow after wandering outside home

A Maine toddler was found dead in snow early Sunday morning a short distance from his family’s Corinna home.

The 3-year-old boy’s father found him unresponsive in the snow after his aunt called 911 at around 8:30 a.m. and reported the boy missing.

Authorities said the toddler died from exposure to the elements.

    She said that she woke up in the morning to find out that her son was missing and the home’s door open.

    In a GoFundMe page, the family mourned the “sudden and unexpected loss” of the boy.

    “He was such a strong loving, caring, funny, happy, little boy. He loves his family with such unconditional love and was loved back so unconditionally by everyone that knew him.”
