An Arkansas teen is behind bars after he accidentally shot his friend killing him while playing with a gun last weekend.

Lacorey Bogard and the 16-year-old suspect were at a gas station owned by the suspect’s father on South Washington Street, playing with a loaded gun just after midnight Sunday.

“They’re playing with the gun. Passing it from person to person. You can see them kick the magazine out of it and one was trying to clear it, but apparently one was still in the chamber, and the other boy had the gun in his lap, and it just went off,” Police Chief Ronald Broussard said as he described surveillance footage of the incident.
