A 19-year-old Pennsylvania man took his own life Sunday after killing his parents and younger brother in a tragic triple murder-suicide.
Officers arrived at the North Sewickley Township home after receiving a 911 call made by the youngest victim to find a macabre scene.
Clifford Sr. Hunt, 51; Michelle Hunt, 48, 16-year-old Cody Hunt and the 19-year-old suspect Clifford Jr. Hunt were found with fatal gunshot wounds.
“There were several weapons were taken from the scene. [We are] still sorting out what weapons were used and on who, trying to piece together a timeline of what might have happened,” said Beaver County DA Nate Bible.
Investigators believe Clifford Jr. was the last person shot suggesting he carried out the massacre.
Cody Hunt was a junior at Riverside High School who played saxophone for the National Honor Society marching band and dreamt of becoming a pilot.
“Eager to serve his country, Cody planned to apply to the US Air Force Academy. He also volunteered at the Air Heritage Museum in Chippewa, where he shared his love for aviation with visitors.”
“Cody’s classroom teachers and friends would say he was kind-hearted and always helped others. Everyone at Riverside will miss him dearly,” the school said.
