Authorities in New York are investigating the death of a private ambulette driver who was fatally stabbed inside his van earlier this week.
His boss discovered the body of 64-year-old Peter Forrest at around 10:30 a.m. Monday when the employer used GPS to track the vehicle and located it at 201 Castle Hill Avenue.
Forrest was reportedly stabbed to death. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
Surveillance footage caught Forrest’s ambulette parking in Castle Hill Avenue followed by a dark-colored car driven by a woman who got out and approached the ambulette.
She left the scene in her car, before returning later to pick up an individual from the scene. The pair’s identities remain unclear no arrests were made in connection to the incident.
Forrest was described as a “nice guy” who would “go to work and come back home.”
