Three men were found dead after apparently being struck by a train in Mobile, Alabama late Tuesday.
Officers responded to reports of two dead men in the area of Cherokee Street and Rickarby Street at around 11:40 p.m.
The two victims were located near the railroad track by responding officers.
A third man was later found near the scene in the area of Emogene Street and Florida Street.
Detectives believe the three individuals were fatally struck by a passing train. The circumstances surrounding the deaths remain unknown.
The train was temporarily stopped at Cherokee and Antoine Streets before resuming its travel at around 5:30 a.m.
The Mobile Police Department is investigating the incident.
