3 people found dead from suspected monoxide poisoning in Pennsylvania

Two men and a woman were found dead inside a Butler, Pennsylvania from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.

The victims’ bodies were found on the second floor of a College Street home at around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Two other residents were rushed to a hospital in unknown condition. The home had to be ventilated before first responders could enter due to high levels of carbon monoxide.

  • “It’s sad,” a neighbor said. “I don’t know what to really say about it but try to be more aware of what is going on around you.”

    The Butler City Police is investigating the incident with the assistance of Peoples Gas.

    It is unclear whether the home was equipped with working carbon monoxide detectors.
