An Ohio toddler was mauled to death by two dogs days after Christmas, Cincinnati Police said.
The incident happened around 8 a.m. on Dec. 27 inside Kingsley Wright’s home in the 7000 block of Stillwell Road.
The 3-year-old victim was asleep on a couch in the living room when the dogs attacked her.
“I just woke up and my daughter is dead. There’s blood everywhere, I don’t know what happened,” the toddler’s father told dispatchers.
“I don’t understand what went on.”
The man added that his dogs were in a cage but Cincinnati Animal CARE later removed three dogs from the house.
Wright was a “happy girl with a beautiful laugh and smile,” according to her obituary.
She loved to sing and dance and “always saw the positive and bright side of everything around her.”
