Authorities in Southern California have arrested an 18-year-old acquaintance of a teen girl who was fatally stabbed Friday night.
Officers were called to the 300 Block of North Soldano Avenue in Azusa over reports of an assault with a deadly weapon at around 10 p.m.

The 17-year-old victim was found suffering from multiple stab wounds. She succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.
An 18-year-old suspect, identified as an acquaintance of the victim, was taken into custody.
