A California father was charged in connection to the gruesome murder of his 1-year-old son who was found decapitated in a bedroom during a domestic incident.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a family disturbance call made by a woman who said her 28-year-old husband, Andrey Demskiy, had assaulted her and her mother.
When deputies entered the northern Sacramento house to arrest Demskiy, they found a “severed child’s head” with him in the bedroom.
Investigators said the father used a knife to decapitate his 1-year-old son after his wife and his mother-in-law fled the home.
Demskiy was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail facing charges of murder, assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, and corporal injury on a spouse.
