Authorities in California arrested five suspects in connection to the ambush-style murder of a Los Angeles doctor last summer.
On Dec. 12, the LAPD announced the arrest of Ahang Mirshojae, 53, in connection to the fatal shooting of her 61-year-old ex-husband Dr. Hamid Mirshojae.
Four other suspects were arrested in connection to the Mirshojae’s slaying: Shawn Randolph, 46, Evan Hardman, 41, and Sarallah Jawed, 26, were charged with murder.
Ashley Rose Sweeting, 40, was charged with accessory to murder for allegedly driving the doctor’s killer to the crime scene.
Mirshojae was ambushed outside his family clinic in Woodland Hills on Aug. 23 at around 5:30 p.m.
Investigators said Mirshojae was walking to his car when a masked man “emerged from hiding around the corner of the clinic and ran toward him” before shooting him and fleeing “back toward the rear of the clinic.”
