Montana man confesses to killing woman, stuffing body in suitcase before tossing it in dumpster

Authorities in Great Falls, Montana are looking for the body of a missing woman in a landfill after her killer admitted to strangling her.

William Glenn Olson, 29, admitted to killing Alicia Wood, 46, after putting her in a headlock during a fight at her Conrad home in November.

Olson said he stuffed the body in a hard shell suitcase that he tossed in a dumpster about 60 miles away from the crime scene.

  • A sanitation truck picked up the trash from the dumpster and dropped it in a local landfill where investigators are currently looking for the body.

    Wood’s car was found wrecked and abandoned on December 1 with “various bloodstains described as being blood spatters on the passenger and driver’s sides, both on the interior and exterior, including handprints that appeared as if someone had dragged their hand across the car locking mechanism.”

    Investigators also found a bullet on the floorboard of the car.

    Olson confessed after repeatedly denying any involvement in Wood’s disappearance.
