Los Angeles news, California news.

Police in Los Angeles, California are now considering the disappearance of a Hawaii woman a “voluntary missing person” case after she was caught on surveillance footage crossing the border on foot.

30-year-old Hannah Kobayashi “knowingly departed” the Los Angeles Airport, missing a connecting flight to New York from Maui on Nov. 11, police said on Monday.

She then went to Union Station and used her passport to buy a bus ticket to the border, where she was spotted near Tijuana on Nov. 12.
