A Florida grandfather was shot dead outside his Lauderdale Lakes home on Thanksgiving Day, police said.
Hureleyon McLean, 72, was shot and killed by a neighbor who showed up at his door at around 3:30 p.m. to complain about loud music, the victim’s wife said.
The man went out to talk to the angry neighbor. A few minutes later, his wife heard the gunshots.

“I heard the gunshot, ‘boom’, and I just fly to the door. I see my husband lying face down in the blood,” Rose McLean said.
The woman said that the neighbor told her “to shut my mouth, or he would shoot me too.”
The neighbor remained at the scene until police arrived. He reportedly claimed he shot McLean in self-defense.
