A New York City woman was found dead in a Brooklyn apartment earlier this month and an autopsy revealed she had been beaten to death.
56-year-old Idell Holloway was discovered unconscious at an apartment on Sackman St. near Belmont Avenue at around 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 16.
Holloway was found unconscious on the floor and later died at a Brookdale University Medical Center.
The city’s medical examiner ruled Holloway’s death a homicide, revealing that she suffered massive blunt force injuries to her head and torso.
She also sustained bleeding on the brain and fractures to her pelvis and ribs from the beating.
Police said the victim lived in a different building in the Low Houses.
No arrests have been made in connection to the slaying.
