A Georgia man was taken into custody after he allegedly killed three family members early Friday, police in Chatham County said.
Junior Thomas Babcock, 42, stands accused of the triple murder of his parents, Connie and Daniel Babcock, and his 14-year-old son LJ Babcock.
Chatham County Police officers responded to the family’s Quacco Trail home at around 9 a.m. Friday to find the three victims deceased from gunshot wounds.

Babcock was taken into custody shortly later. His motive remains a mystery.
“We’ve lost two special people and not counting little junior, the son,” a relative said.
“I mean, he was doing so good. We just really want answers.”
