A Queens woman is hospitalized after she risked her life to escape from her knife-wielding son Friday night, police said.
The mother jumped out of her third-floor window on Shore Boulevard shortly after 9 p.m. Friday.
The NYPD said the woman was being threatened by her son when she jumped breaking her leg.

“She was on the ground, there were two little kids over her. One of them was the neighbor, and they called the cops and then the ambulance took her off the ground and put her in,” a witness said.
“I’m not surprised because I heard the screaming yesterday morning, and they’re constantly fighting.”
Police are now looking for the woman’s 36-year-old son, whom they said had a lengthy rap sheet of over 30 arrests.
