Two human bodies were discovered inside a freezer in an uninhabited townhouse in East Lansing, Michigan last week.
A 911 caller reported seeing blood on the floor of the residence on Wintercrest Street on Thursday.
Responding officers also spotted blood on the floor upon arriving at the home before making a gruesome discovery.
Two bodies were found inside a chest freezer, including one that was stuffed in a duffel bag.
A neighbor said that they thought the home was abandoned calling the situation “deeply troubling.”
“It’s like super disturbing to know that we’ve been sleeping a thin wall away from multiple corpses,” the neighbor said.
“None of these units have giant freezers. Somebody brought a massive freezer big enough to hold two human beings in it and put it in this unit. Which is super weird.”
“There has been no activity in and out of this home. All the mail and stuff that was stuck in the door was in the exact same place that it’s been for months. Our doorbell camera hasn’t picked up any movement, any activity,” the neighbor added.
