A Texas man died Monday after falling from a cellphone tower, authorities said.
Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace identified the victim as James Robert Belcher. He worked as a field supervisor for MasTec Network Solutions.

Deputies found Belcher’s body Tuesday morning while performing a welfare check at a tower on State Highway 94.
The company had reported its employee missing when he failed to return home after his last assigned mission at the cell tower.
Investigators said Belcher appeared to have fallen on a suspended platform while trying to climb the tower.
