Worker dies after fatal plunge at Missouri hospital

Authorities in St. Louis, Missouri said that a sheet metal worker died after he fell at a construction site Friday.

The victim was working at Barnes-Jewish Hospital when he fell from a ladder 12 feet onto a concrete floor.

The worker hit his head and succumbed to his injuries two days later.

    “The preliminary investigation indicates that the individual was injured while installing a metal-insulated panel,”

    “Emergency personnel were contacted immediately, and the individual was taken to the emergency room at an area hospital.”
