2 children killed in hit-and-run crash in Las Vegas

The manhunt is ongoing for a hit-and-run driver accused of killing two children in a tragic collision late Friday.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that the crash occurred at around 5:15 p.m. on the city’s east side.

A 2014 Lexus GS350 was traveling at a high speed when it ran a red light and slammed into a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander at an intersection.

    Two juvenile passengers of the Mitsubishi were killed and two others sustained minor injuries along with the 30-year-old female driver.

    The driver of the Lexus took off on foot after the crash, leaving two injured passengers behind, police said.
