The manhunt is ongoing for a hit-and-run driver accused of killing two children in a tragic collision late Friday.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that the crash occurred at around 5:15 p.m. on the city’s east side.
A 2014 Lexus GS350 was traveling at a high speed when it ran a red light and slammed into a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander at an intersection.
The impact sent the Mitsubishi into a Cadillac SRX and a Honda Civic that were stopped at a light.
Two juvenile passengers of the Mitsubishi were killed and two others sustained minor injuries along with the 30-year-old female driver.
The driver of the Lexus took off on foot after the crash, leaving two injured passengers behind, police said.
