Police in Seattle, Washington arrested a suspect in connection to a stabbing spree that left nine people wounded over two days.
“This incident was apparently one individual over a 38-hour period of time committing random assaults,” Deputy Chief Eric Barden said.
The incidents on Friday afternoon unfolded across Seattle’s Chinatown-International District.
Four people were stabbed and all were listed in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The suspect was arrested nearby and two knives were recovered from the scene, including one that was still lodged in a victim.
Witnesses provided a similar description of the suspect in another stabbing spree that took place Thursday.
A total of nine victims suffered cuts and stab wounds. The attacks seemed to be random, police said.
