Death of woman found in car next to unharmed child ruled homicide

The death of a woman whose body was found inside a car next to an unharmed child last week has been ruled a homicide.

Police in Vancouver, Washington made the grisly discovery of a deceased woman with a “small child” inside a car in the 300 block of North Blandford Drive on Nov. 1.

    The medical examiner’s office determined that the victim, identified as 31-year-old Courtney Clinton, of Portland, was the result of cut wounds to the neck.

    Investigators couldn’t specify where Clinton suffered the injuries. They are seeking the public’s help urging witnesses to call the VPD at (360) 487-7399.
