After Donald Trump’s historic win in the 2024 presidential race, Melania Trump took to social media to address Americans.
The former First Lady hoped people would rise “above ideology” during her husband’s second term.
“The majority of Americans have entrusted us with this important responsibility,” she said.
“We will safeguard the heart of our republic - freedom.”
“I anticipate the citizens of our nation rejoining in commitment to each other and rising above ideology for the sake of individual liberty, economic prosperity, and security.”
“American energy, skill, and initiative will bring together our best minds to propel our nation forward forevermore,” she continued.
The 54-year-old former First Lady had been mostly absent throughout her husband’s campaign, only appearing at a massive rally in New York City days before Election Day.
