Kamala Harris’ team went into silent mode canceling an election night party and refusing to talk to the press as the Vice President’s path to victory narrowed.
Donald Trump’s huge win silenced Harris’ campaign staff as her poll numbers continue to drop across the country.
“The operative word right now is silence,” a CNN reporter said from Harris campaign's HQ in Washington DC.
“There’s not a lot being said. The Harris team appears to be searching for bright spots in the map.”
The VP’s campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon seemed upbeat, however, in an email sent out to staff.
“We have known all along that our clearest path to 270 electoral votes lies through the Blue Wall states,” she wrote.
“And we feel good about what we’re seeing.”
