A deceased newborn was found near trash outside a New York City apartment building Wednesday.
The infant girl had its umbilical cord attached when found near the rear courtyard of the Bronx building.
A superintendent said the body was found in an area that is hard to access. Residents said the baby was found near the trash.

“I was like crazy because they say the baby was there for almost three or four days and the baby was next to my living room,” the superintendent added.
Investigators believe a teen resident delivered the baby at the building and get rid of the body.
No arrests were made in connection to the death.
