Megastar Beyoncé introduced Vice President Kamala Harris at a Houston, Texas rally Friday night saying that America was “at the precipice of an incredible shift, brink of history.”
“We are so happy to be standing here on this stage as proud country Texas women supporting and celebrating the one and only Vice President Kamala Harris,” the singer said.
Beyoncé noted that she was not at the massive rally as a celebrity but as a mother “who cares deeply about the world my children and all our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies.”
“Imagine our daughters growing up seeing what’s possible with no ceilings, no limitations,” she said.
The Queen B told attendees at the Shell Energy Stadium that “your vote is one of the most valuable tools, and we need you.”
“It’s time for America to sing a new song,” she said.
Beyoncé was joined on stage by Kelly Rowland, actress Jessica Alba, and fellow icon Nelson who performed “On the Road Again” and “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys.”
