Officers in Oklahoma City fatally shot a woman who started firing a gun after a crash, officials said.
Capt. Valerie Littlejohn said that the woman was wanted in an earlier shooting before the car crash.
She reportedly began threatening the seven officers who arrived at the crash scene and tried to make contact with her.

The woman then opened fire at the officers leading them to fire back.
“We don’t know if she was shooting at anyone or just shooting them (bullets) off in the air or into the ground,” Littlejohn added.
Investigators are reviewing bodycam footage. The officers, who were not harmed in the incident, were placed on paid leave as the investigation proceeds.
