Former President Barack Obama’s crude joke at Donald Trump has backfired after he hinted the Republican Presidential nominee is using adult diapers while speaking at his first solo campaign event.
Obama, 63, spoke about how expensive diapers were when he had become a father before wondering: ‘Do you think Donald Trump ever changed a diaper?”
Attendees of the University of Pittsburgh rally then yelled back: “His own!”
“I almost said that, but I decided I should not say it,” Obama replied with a laugh.
Social media users did not seem amused by Obama’s joke calling it “out of touch” and “low.”
“They go low and we go low. Sad that a lot of adults do have to wear and change their own diapers. Really sad that Obama would stoop that low,” one wrote.
“That reeks of Democrat desperation,” another added.
