Biden, Trump send message to Floridians as they wake up to Milton’s devastation

President Joe Biden posted a video message to Floridians as they woke up to Hurricane Milton’s utter devastation Thursday morning.

Biden commended first responders and officials for risking their lives to help those in need and promised he and Vice President Kamala Harris “will be there for as long as it takes to rebuild.”

“To all the people impacted by Hurricanes Milton and Helene: We’ve got your back,” he added.

    Former President Donald Trump also addressed Floridians saying he was “deeply saddened by the devastation being reported.”

    “It sounds like it’s as bad as it gets,” he said as the storm battered the state.

    “Hopefully on January 20th you’re going to have somebody who’s really going to help you like never before.”
